This is a late classic Cooper which is finished in a beautiful and unusual colour; at first glance it appears to be ordinary racing green metallic but it is actually known as number 3 pearl racing green metallic, which has to be seen to be appreciated.
The car is obviously the Sportspack version wnich means it has the wide arches and wheels giving it an impressive look and feel on the road. I personally drove this car 160miles to our workshops and it is a delight to drive.
Other nice feautures include the wood dash and half leather trim. Benefits of the later Coopers include drivers airbag and four spotlights too.
The car has a very large service history with stamps in the book and lots of receipts, every MOT certificate from new is available too.
The bodywork is superb and completely rust free and I doubt you could fault it at all.
The interior is all very nice too.
It is an ideal car to use with confidence every day or to just cherish and use for the many shows and events next year which will be celebrating 50 years of the biggest yet smallest of true British motoring icons.
