This is a super looking car which is a credit to its previous keeper for the way in which it has been Cooperised.
The car benefits from being a Mayfair model, so is the 1275cc carb model and will be lower insurance than a Cooper, yet has the real look of a late Cooper with Sportspack wheels and wide arches, full leather trim which has been transplanted from a late car, wood dash with 3 clocks and the white roof and Cooper decals and stripes.
The car also has some nice features such as centre console, headlight peaks, boot liner kit, and a CD player will be fitted.
The bodywork and interior are both in excellent order and it looks far newer than it actually is.
When you drive the car you will appreciate how well it has been looked after (we have serviced for the previous keeper so now the history of it), and is one of the best early Minis I have driven for a long while. It comes MOT'd until December 2009 and passed with no advises.
It is an ideal car to use with confidence every day or to just cherish and use for the many shows and events next year which will be celebrating 50 years of the biggest yet smallest of true British motoring icons.
